Mott Park Upgrades

This is one of the major parks in the ward and as such it has just received a major playground upgrade. Currently, a Stormwater Harvesting project is being undertaken in Mott Park and the use of filtered stormwater will create positive environmental outcomes for the area through improving waterway health and fostering habitat creation. This project entails the construction of water storage basins, in-channel storage systems and aboveground tanks to supply filtered stormwater to local parks and recreation facilities with the water to be used for irrigation.

As a result of residents’ requests I have also been able to obtain funding to construct a bikeway connecting Victor St and Abbotsleigh St.
