St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church: The development of St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church on Logan Road, Mt Gravatt is all but complete with the Council supplying trees to enhance the street appeal and provide much needed summer shade.

Greenslopes Private Hospital: The Greenslopes Private Hospital opened its assisted conception clinic on the 25th of July this year. It now has a state of the art facility to assist couples in this important service.

Increased Cavendish Road bus services: With increased demand for public transport, the Council has made a request to TransLink for an additional four 181 express bus services to run from Mansfield, through Holland Park and along Cavendish Road. It is envisaged that two additional services will run both morning and afternoon which forms part of Council’s record investment in public transport.

RSL Girl in a Million Congratulations to Maia Keeria, the RSL Girl in a Million and Melissa Raitelli, the RSL Golden Girl for 2008. The quest is supported by the Council and is a unique opportunity for participants to contribute to this most worthy of causes, of which the Holland Park RSL Sub Branch is an enthusiastic supporter. I will keep you updated with our entrants for this area.
