Boundary Rd - Road Travel Made Easier

06 March, 2012

Council is set to begin on a $250,000 resurface of Boundary Rd, Coorparoo between Indus St and Whites Hill Reserve which is expected to be completed by mid March, weather permitting.

The Lord Mayor and his administration take a multi-pronged approach to tackling traffic congestion across Brisbane, putting just as much focus on fixing local suburban streets as it does building necessary bypass roads like the Go Between Bridge and Legacy Way tunnel.

That’s why we are investing almost $1 billion on road infrastructure this financial year alone - more than half of which is earmarked for local road upgrades like this one.

That includes a record $65 million on local road resurfacing and the Lord Mayor’s unprecedented Road Action Program, which is fast tracking 15 years' worth of priority road works into four years.

This upgrade of Boundary Rd at Coorparoo will ensure local motorists enjoy a safer and easier trip through their suburb.

The project will include asphalting and line marking.
