Lock Up Your Car

24 July, 2014

It's really simple... lock your car!!
Holland Park Police and Scenes of Crime officers have a bone to pick with the residents of Holland Park, have a look at the map below and you’ll see why!!!
Over the past few weeks there have been in excess of 20 offences where property has been stolen from vehicles. Offenders appear to be targeting cars parked in the street and in drive ways on Holland, Logan, Cavendish and Nursery Roads. The most frustrating part from a policing perspective is that in the majority of cases these vehicles were left unlocked or insecure by their owners, making it very difficult for Scenes of Crime officers to collect any valuable evidence.
The message here is pretty simple – help us help you by locking your car and removing any items of value!!!

Anyone with information which could assist with this matter should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
Crime Stoppers is a registered charity and community volunteer organisation working in partnership with the Queensland Police Service.
