The Eastern Corridor Renewal Strategy Plan

The Eastern Corridor Renewal Strategy team in Urban Renewal Brisbane is inviting public comment on the draft Renewal Strategy from Monday 12 October. The draft will be available for viewing and download over a four week period until Friday 6 November.

WHERE TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE DRAFT RENEWAL STRATEGY

The team is encouraging people to view and download their own copies of the draft Renewal Strategy here.

However, the community can also telephone Council on (07) 3403 8888 or email Eastern.Corridor@brisbane.qld.gov.au and request a free copy to be mailed out.

HOW FEEDBACK CAN BE PROVIDED

The community are encouraged to complete an online survey here to provide their feedback on the draft. However, written comments can be emailed to Eastern.Corridor@brisbane.qld.gov.au or posted to the team at:

Comments will be used to help shape the Eastern Corridor Neighbourhood Plan – the document that guides future development in the area. Comments should be received no later than Friday 6 November 2009.

HOW TO GET FURTHER INFORMATION

Four ‘Get To Know Your Neighbourhood Plan’ sessions are being held for the community to discuss the draft with a member of the planning team:

• 10am-12pm Tuesday 20 October, corner of Logan and Old Cleveland Roads, Stones Corner (outside Stones Corner Hotel)

• 6pm-8pm Thursday 22 October, corner of Ipswich Road and Cornwall Street, Buranda (inside Centro Buranda)

• 9am-11am Saturday 24 October, 45 Holdsworth Street, Coorparoo (outside Coorparoo RSL)

• 9am-11am Saturday 31 October, corner of Ipswich Road and Cornwall Street, Buranda (inside Centro Buranda)
